The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 关于克隆，网飞会拍政治惊悚片，苹果拍了讨论死亡的家庭伦理片。这部电影很苹果风，不差但谈不上多好看。相比于复制，我认为记忆更应该一次性转移，毕竟记忆才是造就我们独一无二的原因，这样所带来的伦理风险也相对较小。
深度探讨了克隆带来的的伦理道德，本片令人喜欢的是期待了一个乐观充满希望的结局，希望克隆技术给人类带来幸福。
