The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     这部金狮奖作品，题材关于堕胎，很多类似的影片都获得过重要奖项，这其中还得数《四月三周两天》最为优秀。当然相比较而言，《正发生》的尺度很大，全程给人的紧张感和危险系数也是完全不一样的，真是替女主捏了一把汗。除此之外，就没看到其它值得深思的地方，或许还是这样的题材所衍生出来的优秀作品有很多部吧。

    和《从不很少》一样的蓝色滤镜，女性的恐怖是蓝色的。全片存在感最强的是那些渣男。堕胎和生育从不只是某个性别的问题，而是全人类的问题。对堕胎的呈现实际已经相当节制（对比女性瘾者的猎奇式呈现），但却更加有力。因为在电影中，不能被再现的才是真实。
