The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 恐男隐喻？操作得是不是太直白了。虽然但是，嘉兰的视听还是很棒。
前面乡村别墅户外绿色美景，有点自己吓自己那种，后面奇异展现，整体像是精神疾病困扰的具象化。联想战栗黑洞，时间裂缝，湮灭，入侵脑细胞，坠入，鬼女艾拉。虽然这部电影这么表现，但是现实中素质和性别也没啥必然联系。

7.0/10，生机盎然的环境，与隐蔽恐怖男权（精神控制）和生殖轮回形成互文。高潮的连环自我生殖cult味十足，具有令人咋舌的符号明喻力量，狠狠给疯狂男权抽耳光。

为了得到爱而以自残为威胁的丈夫; 跟踪狂+露阴癖式的某种精怪; 求而不得就胡乱撒气的赖皮青年; 道貌岸然佛口淫心的长辈; 平庸无害一旦受到刺激就会发狂的屋主; 事不关己冷漠疏远的警察; 沉默不语又气势汹汹的路人甲; 以及自己有错在先但受到伤害就会把自己塑造成受害者的集合者...的确是恐男性质的电影
这个片子的可怕之处在于，让观众觉得害怕，诡异，恶心，毛骨悚然的角色，在现实世界中，全部都能遇到。
前半部分以为是个恐怖片，后半部分我和女主都一脸冷漠：哦，渲染了半天竟然是要表演肛生子啊，行吧🙄
Alex Garland’s movie style really amazes me, he filmed the british countryside so beautifully. Wanna visa the forest of dean to see the tunnel now. Rory Kinnear got range, he can act every fucking thing, even a new born baby. Jessi Buckley is like made for these kind of movies. we lived under the patriarchy for so long. That birth scene.
男人看了惭愧自省，女人看了惊恐悲凉，已经高于一般恐怖片而到了用表现主义展现男性社会对女性无形压迫的范畴
视觉美学是挺厉害的，厌男倒也是刻画到了极致，但挺流于形式和表面的。
符号化的内容相当之多，而且用得很到位，不管是那个洞还是银河，都承担了女性性吸引力的身份。而全片的核心也就在于由情感伤痛引发的男性恐惧及生殖恐惧，末端不断的生殖其实是个内部矛盾剥离的过程，也将中间铺展开的对全体男性的恐惧的根源挖出，从而完成了哈珀这个角色的成长。
男人看着似乎各有不同，仔细看看其实都是一张面孔，男权社会代代相传，绵延不绝，只有主谋与帮凶
很不错，景的选择非常适应于剧情的发展，恐怖片的女主果然很考演技，杰西顺利再线。从苗头初显到走火入魔，这次疯狂的经历在魔幻和夸张之中让人震惊，不仅仅是女主，在这样抽象赤裸的男人世界里，男人女人都很受罪。
看到拉斯冯提尔《反基督者》的影子。后半段垮了点，3.5
结尾可谓经典了，看看当长长眼界呗。意识流助于催眠，先睡为敬。
